Hackion was initially created in 2012, first coming online approximately 40 years after the inception of the C programming language. After decades of research and study, HACKION Proprietary Limited was formally incorporated in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on the 16th of December 2024. As of the 1st of July 2025, our headquarters has moved from Sydney to Newcastle. Hackion has built up specialized skills and understandings to offer in the areas of computer and cyber science, real-time communications, and distributed systems.
Software engineering should go hand in hand with security. While Hackion is adeptly versed in security and while security is always a primary concern, our focus and attention are broadly attuned to the wider technology ecosystem.
